Sisters in Spirit Vigils
On October 4 2025, families, survivors, and communities gather in circles to remember our loved ones who never came home. The Sisters in Spirit Vigils are not just events, they are sacred spaces where we honour the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals (MMIWG2S+). They are places of love, grief, resistance, and strength.
At the heart of every vigil are the families who carry stories of unimaginable loss, and the survivors who courageously share their truths. These vigils belong to them. By gathering, we lift up their voices, hold space for their healing, and promise that their loved ones will never be forgotten.

Show Up for Grassy Narrows at the Draw the Line Rally
On September 20th, people from across the country – and around the world – are uniting to draw the line — for People. For Peace. For the Planet.
March with Grassy Narrows grassroots people in Toronto for this massive mobilization! Grassy Narrows youth and community members are travelling nearly 2000 km to be here, carrying forward their powerful fight for justice, dignity, and a clean future after decades of mercury poisoning in their river system.
Grassy Narrows people are at the heart of this day — their community has defended their forests, rivers, and way of life for decades in the face of mercury poisoning and industrial logging. Standing with them affirms that the fight for Indigenous rights and the protection of Grassy lands and waters is inseparable from the fight for a livable planet.
The march begins at 2pm at Sankofa Square (formerly Dundas Square). Bring your friends, your banners, and your solidarity. If you’re not in Toronto, you can still take part by attending a rally near you or hosting one in your community!
